T&Cs – bookings, cancellations and recordings

Recordings and transcripts for online events:

Please be aware that some online events and programmes may be recorded and shared publicly. This includes audio, video and chat box functions. The intended purpose of this is to support the professional development of other education professionals who are unable to attend the event. Participants may choose to turn off their video and audio options as appropriate. If you turn the camera on or share your screen, the image will be available to everyone in attendance or watching the recording. Depending on how your account is configured, you may inadvertently share your name, email address or other similar information with others. What you say will be recorded. Please be mindful of your own privacy requirements as confidential discussions may be retained as part of the recording.

Bookings:

All bookings should be made, in the first instance, via our online booking system. Wherever possible we ask that a direct email is provided for delegates, rather than a school office email, to ensure that all relevant information and links reach the intended recipient.

Cancellations:

Our events and programmes are planned by school leaders for our peers in local schools, and these events must be self-financing and sustainable.  The decision to go ahead with an event is made in advance, based on the number of delegates who have booked places. Therefore, if you cancel your place with less than 2 weeks’ notice, or fail to attend on the day, your school will still be charged for the full cost of the training.  Cancellation more than 14 days before the event will not result in any charges being made.

If you are able to send another colleague in your place, we will be happy to transfer the booking with no administration charge.

Where an event or place is ‘free’ as it is to be funded by a scholarship, or by an external organisation, your school may be charged a fee if you cancel with less than 2 weeks’ notice or fail to attend on the day.

Workload:

We are committed to reducing unnecessary teacher workload. Our events and programme design will reflect this wherever possible and it will form part of the evaluation of programme delivery.
