NPQ for Leading Teaching (NPQLT)

Our NPQLT programme has been designed with existing or aspiring leaders, who have responsibilities for leading a subject, year group, key stage or phase, in mind. It is a qualification that is delivered flexibly, and it offers a blend of face to face, online and self-directed study over a 12-month period.

NPQLT modules cover a wide range of themes including:

      * School culture                                       * How pupils learn

      * Subject and curriculum                        * Classroom practice

      * Adaptive teaching                                * Assessment

      * Professional development                   * Implementation

The need for a large project has been removed from the reformed suite of NPQs and the assessment process has been streamlined to take into account the workload of busy teachers.

Our mission is to ensure that teachers and leaders in Leicester and Leicestershire get the best training and support to succeed. We understand how important professional learning is and we are committed to helping delegates develop their strength as a leader and fully develop the expertise they offer to their school.

You will be expertly supported by our facilitation team who represent the diversity and experience of school leadership within our region. Our facilitators are all existing school leaders from Leicester and Leicestershire and are well versed in the context we work within.
