NPQ for Leading Teacher Development (NPQLTD)

Our NPQLTD programme has been designed with existing or aspiring teachers who have responsibilities for the development of other teachers in their school. They may have responsibilities for the development of teachers across a school or those teachers who are early in their career.

It is a qualification that is delivered flexibly and offers a blend of face to face, online and self-directed study over a 12-month period.

NPQLTD modules cover a wide range of themes including:

      * Teaching

      * Designing professional development

      * Delivering professional development

      * Implementation

The need for a large project has been removed from the reformed suite of NPQs and the assessment process has been streamlined to take into account the workload of busy teachers.

You will be expertly supported by our facilitation team who represent the diversity and experience of school leadership within our region. Our facilitators are all existing school leaders from Leicester and Leicestershire and are well versed in the context we work within.
