NPQ for Leading Literacy (NPQLL)

Our NPQLL programme has been designed with existing or aspiring teachers, who have responsibilities for literacy across a school, year group, key stage or phase, in mind. It is a qualification delivered flexibly and offers a blend of face to face, online and self-directed study over a 12-month period.

NPQLL modules cover a wide range of themes including:

      * Teaching                                         * Developing language

      * Developing reading                       * Developing writing

      * Professional development            * Implementation

The need for a large project has been removed from the reformed suite of NPQs and the assessment process streamlined to take into account the workload of busy teachers.

We understand how important professional learning is and we are committed to helping colleagues develop their strengths as a leader and fully develop the unique expertise they offer their school.

You will be expertly supported by our facilitation team who represent the diversity and experience of school leadership within our region. Our facilitators are all existing school leaders from Leicester and Leicestershire and are well versed in the context we work within.
