NPQ for Early Years Leadership (NPQEYL)

Our NPQEYL programme has been designed with existing or aspiring early years leaders in mind. It is a qualification delivered flexibly and offers a blend of face to face, online and self-directed study over an 18-month period.

NPQEYL modules cover a wide range of themes including:

      * Organisational Management                                              * Culture

      * Child Development and Curriculum                                  * Communication, Language and Literacy

      * Personal, Social and Emotional Development                  * Assessment

      * Additional Special Educational Needs and Disabilities    * Professional Development

      * Working in Partnership                                                      * Implementation

The need for a large project has been removed from the reformed suite of NPQs and the assessment process streamlined to take into account the workload of busy Early Years Leaders.

Our mission is to ensure that Early Years Leaders in Leicester and Leicestershire access the best training and support to succeed. We know that big change starts small and are proud to see our NPQEYL as a step on the road to greater qualification parity for the Early Years Sector.

You will be expertly supported by our facilitation team who represent the diversity and experience of early years leadership within our region. Our facilitators are all practitioners and leaders from Leicester and Leicestershire and are well versed in the context we work within.
