The next meeting of the Leicester History Network will take place on Tuesday 31st January, starting at 4.15pm, at Rushey Mead Academy.

'Industrial revolution or evolution? Just how dramatic were the Great Changes, and how can we make them interesting at KS3 in a post-industrial society?'

Alf Wilkinson will address this question, providing a fresh perspective on teaching the industrial revolution at KS3. Alf brings a wealth of experience, having been a Head of History, Head of CPD for the Historical Association, authored numerous text books and advised on National Curriculum changes and edited Primary History Magazine.
